Good tanning beds Sun Place Tanning Studios may not be the cheapest place to tan in town, but they do have a good number of high quality tanning beds with quality bulbs. They also offer spray on tanning. I did not find the staff to be incredibly helpful, but thankfully you do not have to deal with them much after sign up. If you're willing to put up with the staff, this is a good place to tan. PROS: Good number of tanning beds, high quality CONS: High prices, poor service

Bad customer service I have been a member of Sunplace tanning VIP package for over 12 years. I recently moved out of town and when I tried to cancel my package deal I was told to fax my request to the accountant so that I would not be charged for the month. I faxed my request and thought everything would be taken care of. I checked my bank statement and I was again charged. When I talked to the bookkeeper he told me that I was suppose to come into the shop and that I couldn't do it through a fax. I think that they need to tr... read more

??? My sister called in advance twice to get price's at which time she asked if there were any other fee's. When told no, we went down there only to find out that it was going to cost an addition $99.99. Although I am sure that there business is great, there customer service is lacking. PROS: quality bulbs in there tanning beds, nice atmosphere CONS: poor customer service, very high registration fee

Sun Place Tanning Studios insufficient maintaining fresh bulbs I've belonged to Sunplace for over 7 years and have found the quality gone WAAAAAY down over the past few years. VERY poor at keeping fresh, new bulbs available. I am SERIOUSLY considering cancelling my membership, instead going to Bahama tan, where the prices are comparable and the high pressure beds being MUCH more affordable, meaning less time spent running for tanning time.
