We love our sun shade and S.W. Sun Control employees have been very helpful, and professional with the installation and one repair call. I would and have recommended them, and I would definitely use them again.

Beware! Who would pay over $5, 500.00 for damage, for less shade than what they had and asked for, and be strung along when it comes to repairs and customer service??? This company appears to know nothing about construction/code, materials and proper installations. But they wont tell you this. Wood supporting posts were split via enormous eyebolts being screwed in without proper pilot holes and they just kept going until told by owner to stop, the sales rep showed up with crafting glue to glue wood back together! SWSC and customer agreed upon repairs being made with June 25 as the first date and June 28 as the second date. Before final confirmation, SWSC requested documents regarding the bids/estimates for material. Those documents were received and June 25 was confirmed from both parties. SWSC received word on Monday June 25 from customer that the appointment would need to be rescheduled. March 2018 had three shades installed by Sun Control. Met the salesman ** ********* and he went over all aspects of the sun shade. We spent quite some time as I had lots of questions. He answered every question with respect and thoroughness . He gave me confidence in his company. After getting 4 bids, I picked Sun Shade, because of the knowledge of the salesman and his very nice manner. ***** and ****** came on site and went over the install with me. They were all business. Look on Yelp. My review is similar to others. I had a motor fail within 1-2 weeks on one of these expensive retractable shades. A new motor was installed and on the same shade, it won't work with the programmable remote option. It also won't work unless about 1-2 feet away with the individual remote option. Follow-up only occurs if you call them. The guys who installed seemed nice but install was messy and they even left stuff behind that I had to clean up. 1 star due to the price does not not align with the service you get.... read more

After initial installation, the sales representative left a message to follow up. We later received email that one of the three shades has stopped working at which time we visited the residence and ordered and returned to install a new motor. Received message from customer stating that with the new motor the programming was off, we scheduled a visit and had the programming corrected.
