People were helpful. Once inside, the community was beautiful. Very large complex with numerous neighborhoods. The community offers numerous amenities. However, it just didn't give me a feeling of warmth. Beautiful community. I wouldn't feel safe leaving at night.
I was there to take an informal tour of this retirement community. The grounds were spotless. There were lots of places to sit and relax. The bulletin boards listed a multitude of activities. There was a quaint little library which allows you to take as many books as you like for as long as you like. Looking from the outside the pool looked like a water park. I live in The Grand and I simply love it here! Coming from a resort style lifestyle, The Grand offers resort style amenities, 4 fabulous golf courses, restaurants, state of the art gyms and indoor/outdoor pools just too name a few things. Went to The Grand Cafe for the first time under the new management and ordered a tuna sandwich on sourdough break. The short answer is: I didn't like it... period!! Then I had a chocolate & vanilla swirl ice cream cone and that made up for the sandwich. I should have stuck only with dessert.
2 Women murder by exworkers who did lawn work. Not safe. The ppl who runs this place are unfriendly they look at you like ur bothering them. The men in the pool who plays volley ball are loud and rude. If you like to play they wont hit the ball to you. Now if you are young and pretty they will break there necks trying to get you to play.
