My daughter was taken there recently. She has had a decently long history of being in and out of that place and one other. The fact that they are did not let me know they were going to discharge her early. I received a phone call on the day of. The following Friday had been discussed. My daughter was a voluntary admit- though I don’t think that stands for much to be honest. I was told if I tried to discharge her before 72 hours they could just make her status involuntary. I have many concerns from her 4 day stay and I addressed these concerns with the facility already. Nothing changes if nothing changes. 1. All the staff are rude. They don't listen to the patient. They belittle you in front of you then act like they didn't do anything
As a Northern Kentuckian it is imperative that we have a quality facility like Sun Behavioral here locally. It’s so refreshing to see representation at all of our local events promoting healthy opinions on mental health and seeking treatment. I have ran into one of their Employees Matt at several local and school based community events, and I’m always impressed.
