Beautiful establishment, great care. Angie is the best!
Ms Angie and Ms shade were very good to me they helped me when I needed it talked with me a lot and I also like how they treat the other patients and on 7-14-25 it was a lot going on and the two of them came together as one and ran this unit effectively and safely. And I'm from dover Delaware and made it a point to come to this facility. It was very good service meds were on time all the nurses were good to me and I feel very hopeful moving forward
I have no idea where all these positive reviews come from. I wish I could say the same. While the facility is shiny and new, behind closed doors there is chaos and ill management. These were the spoken words of a tech at the facility. My son has been inpatient at Sun 4 times. Each time he has been stripped of meds, loaded up on Haldol and Benzodiazepines then sent home in a worst state than when he entered. He has a mild developmental disability which added further problems because absolutely none of the staff has experience... read more
I promised Jessica I would leave a positive and a really good review so that is exactly what I am going to do. The time before that I spent here wasn't so positive for me because I was upset about my meds. But I have to say this time around has been really good I got my meds and the staff has been excellent. I also talked to Jessica she can be easy to talk to. My state this time was really good. Still sueing for malpractice. This place is dangerous under staffed breaks the law was 22 patients with one technician and no nurse... read more
My 14 yo old has been to Sun twice, once for 13 days and once for 10 days back to back. We live 2 hours away and it was the most difficult thing I ever had to do, leaving him in an unfamiliar place so far from home. From the moment we arrived by medical transport the Sun staff were patient, friendly, and calming to us as we navigated this process. Throughout his stay, his unit nurses were available for me to call and check in and even speak to my son. I could write a page about all the things I loved about Sun from the staff... read more
