Being in inpatient is never fun, but Sun Behavioral Health made the experience as tolerable as possible. The rooms are nicely designed, and every room gets a bathroom which I like. The showers are a bit tricky but it wasn’t too big an issue. The food was, for hospital food, decent. They also kept food and drinks on the unit, which I liked because some days when the meal options weren’t for me, I would just eat a sandwich from the fridge. While AARON, ERIN, TIM, JOHN, KEISHA and DAVE all did wonderful jobs, for the most part this was a waste of time and money, and I cannot recommend it based on my experience. To say that the entire schedule is fraudulent would be a kindness. It’s an all out farce which states that Rec and gym time are Daily but are each given once every few days. All the staff were caring and compassionate, and treated me and everyone else very well. I had a very good experience
Terrible place, awful staff. I hadn’t slept for 15 days and the staff would shine bright flashlights in my face every 15 minutes throughout the night. Nasty food. Unhygienic facilities. They lost the toiletries my mom brought me so I couldn’t brush my teeth or shower for days. They completely switched my medication and cold turkeyed me off what I was taking. The medication regimen they prescribed me wasn’t the right fit for me. The nurses ignored my physical symptoms and told me I would be fine when I wasn’t. They treated me... read more
This place really helped me with my recovery, gave me all the resources I needed to get better and over come addiction, staff was very pleasant and helpful
