Used to live there at 6230 Apartment 7. Floor creaks everywhere. Last 2 weeks of living there they wouldn't fix my AC system. Celing leaked during hard rain. Had a water heater fire a couple years earlier that could have left me homeless. They only replaced heating element instead of the whole water heater. Witnessed lots of illegal activity in these apartments. They unfairly jacked up rent rates and their buildings remain plagued with problems. Happier since moving out. STAY AWAY from Sunbay Apartments!
First off, this new manager, Wanda, lacks personality and people skills. Highly fed up with getting 12/24 hour notices on my door for maintenance or inspections that never take place. It took them 4 or 5 next day notices for re-doing the parking lots when there was nowhere else to park our cars without running the huge risk of having our cars towed away if we parked them at businesses or other places along South Dale Mabry. The maintenance guy, Johnny, is a really nice guy, but is severely overwhelmed with maintenace issues.... read more
