We visited a number of different assisted living communities in The Villages and chose Sumter Senior Living. Its been a year and a half since my brother moved in, and we are so pleased! We had a meeting the day he moved in, and formally met all of the different department leaders. This was so helpful, because we personally met everyone in case we needed to communicate with them in the future. The nursing department is amazing! This community is stellar! The Executive Director Mica Gilles is extremely knowledgeable, and resident focused. Grandma Betty is treated by all the staff as if she is their grandmother. It warms my heart ! I had lunch recently and the fare was delectable. From the place settings to the quality of food it was fresh and beautifully plated. They even catered to my keto needs. 10 stars
Mom is in Memory Care. This place has greatly improved from 2 years ago. Caring staff who listen to my concerns and work with mom, who can be difficult at times.
Only giving this place a one star because there's no way to give it a 0. Please don't put your family members here.They don't get proper care in the assisted, living.. And the place is filthy and the food isn't fit for a cat!!!! It used to be a wonderful facility.It has fallen downhill very quickly
