Posting on behalf of a close friend of mine who recently had a baby delivered by this Dr. I am posting this so that women who are searching for their options for doctors see this and hopefully help direct them else where!! My friend had a C Section. She reached out to the doctor with concerns of bleeding from her incision and was given half hearted care advice to go to an urgent care. Dr. Bhattacharya was the on call doctor during my delivery. The next day during rounds, I told him my stitches came out. He stated, “I know how I stitched you, they wouldn’t have came out.” He refused to assess me then discharged me the next day. I so in excruciating pain when I was home. I made an appointment with my provider who restitched me after being discharged. My provider stated I would have most likely needed a revision if I wasn’t treated properly. This doctor is the worst doctor ever! I would not ever expect for someone to be in pain and for a doctor to come into the room whenever he feels he wants hours later. I’m glad to know that this is how he likes to treat people. This doctor rather you be in pain then help you out and give you the proper medical treatment. I was very upset to come into Javon bea and be treated by this doctor because they were on call. He came into the room and had no respect for us as we have had a long pregnancy. He was too busy to come into the room and a few hours later finally came in to see me and right away had a rude comment.
