I've had nothing but positive experiences with the Garcia House. Very accommodating and kind staff. I'm very much looking forward to working with them!
The first sense you get is the staff are as messed up as the inmates, or perhaps that they’re perfectly suited to their work. There was a therapist I saw, at the end of a day of poking and prodding, who was prescient and direct. You do find sometimes in this life a happy meeting between needs and services. Overall there’s well over two staff members for every client housed at the facility. Garcia House’s raison d’être seems more about keeping staff in work and bilking insurance companies than it does fixing people. What you... read more
