My wife saw Kelsey(?) and she was INCREDIBLY disrespectful. Not only did she very abruptly leave the appointment, but she was combative and demeaning to my wife. This should be a place where people get help, not show up to be condescended to.
Beware! Your relative can get you locked up here for as long as they want and this place will try to keep you here as long as they can and then lock you up somewhere else for a long time. Even if you do not have a substance abuse at the time but anxiety disorder. Do not walk in the door unless you need to detox and want to stay a long time by force. Most of the staff is friendly and the ear acupuncture with Emily was great.
I had a negative experience with one of their providers Dr. Janice Hanlon and hope to warn people about this contracted provider’s services. Please Google her online psychiatry reviews and request an alternative provider if possible. She will dismiss pre-existing diagnoses and medications where she has obvious biases towards. Her stubbornness to implement her own treatment plan with little to no regard of the real-life consequences for the patient may considerably delay your access to care.
