Way to ruin any trust I had left in the mental health field. I’ll never seek therapy again after what I experienced today. I’ll be canceling all future appointments. Thanks for nothing.
ABUSIVE!!! I am now 25, summit stone singlehandedly has given me at least 6 years of trauma, worsened my PTSD. And been the most forceful traumatizing mental health previdor I have ever experienced. And every time I bring up summit stone, any of my many of providers from there, or my horrid experiences. I took some time to scroll through the reviews, paying particular attention to the 1-star entries. I feel badly that people didn't get the attention they deserve, or were treated in a sub-standard manner. I had quite the opposite experience. Moved here from Arizona where their healthcare and crisis programs are absolutely horrible. Calling and trying to get through to a live person, or routed to the correct person at many of the state and community help-lines increased my anxiety 100-fold. Places like this have to exist for patients in crisis. I'm glad places like this do exist. But don't go here. Like so many, they seem to be understaffed, undertrained, and there is almost zero communication with the patient once you leave to try to get continuing care. I didn't know what the hell was going on when i got there, and at no point did i get any theraputic help in the 4 or 5 days i KEPT MYSELF here! I have a few problems with scheduling but my therapist is amazing and I wouldn’t be here without her, i appreciate the work she puts in. I feel like the people at this specific establishment care about their patients. I had a bad experience with another summit stone but ever since my therapist transferred to this one I’ve mostly have had great experiences and communication
