i bought a 2010 Toyota Tacoma from these guys. They show me the car fax which includes checkups by their own dealership. The week I walk off the lot with the truck, I get all these lights that start coming on for my truck. I get that "!" light that comes on, I fill up my tires and it's still on. A maintenance required light comes on. lol think that means they did a good checkup per the car fax saying so? I get a "no air bag" light. Hi *****,It is possible that when we changed the oil during the pre-owned inspection, the maintenance light was not reset. It is based on mileage and is not an indication of the quality or lack of inspection (we spent $1900 reconditioning the Tacoma to ensure its quality as best we could). It appears we replaced the heat shield that covers your catalytic convertor and that was the reason for the noise. We do not recommend maintenance to be done that doesn't need to be done. We purchased a 2018 with ****** miles on it in June. A week later it started having major mechanical failure. ** the dealership manager is arrogant and rude he told he didn't have a crystal ball when they sold it to us. I'm pretty sure if your selling near $20,000 vehicles they shouldn't be leaving your lot with engine failure !!! Called a week ahead of time to schedule service for my 2019 Rav, that I had purchased at Summit. Previously, the service staff had been exemplary in attitude and performance. This time, however, I called to confirm my appointment, and was told I had no appointment. When I assured them I had called, they put me on hold five times, ringing the service area each time, with no-one answering. They then offered to have someone call me back and I agreed.
