Had my first visit today and I was truly impressed. From scheduling my appointment to the front desk and the medical assistant, they were all very friendly and kind. Dr. Rubio was also very kind, patient with my questions and very knowledgeable. He explained more than I’ve ever known since I was diagnosed with RA 20 years ago. I highly recommend this office!
Doctors are wonderful but the staff is not. They are not polite and they do not return phone calls. Getting connected with a doctor is impossible. I cancelled them today total waste of my time.
I haven't seen my nurse practitioner hennis since June. He has been very kind professional and most caring for about 3 years under his care. Then something terrible happened, When I went for my 3-month follow-up the day of the appointment in office, told me they don't take my insurance anymore! I used to be a patient of Peter Hennis but then got transferred to Michael Rubio and both providers are excellent, but I do want to focus on Michael as he's my current provider. Michael is an excellent doctor who takes the time to listen to his patients. He's organized, present and compassionate. He understands fully the complexity of autoimmune disease and how it can show up in very surreptitious ways or sometimes not at all on some results. The staff was very thorough and friendly. The doctor was also very thorough and performed tests no one has done before.
