My father passed away and this company is trying to make me pay the remaining amount for his lease. He had no executive of estate nor is my name on lease contract. I got a letter in the mail for rights and responsibilities they want me to sign as if he left on his own terms. Definitely not legal in the state and has violated the 14 day return policy of deposit from the date of his death. Since I've lived at Cedars in Queensbury, NY my bill is consistently wrong. I've been fighting with Kelly for 8 months now; about a money order that she says was not cashed by the bank. I wrote to Western Union and they sent me a letter stating that the money order for $325 has been cashed. Even with this evidence Kelly insists that I still owe the rent for May of 2023.
