Always remember - you get what you pay for. Summit Pointe is average - a bit on the older side but functional. Wish laundry hours were established - people like to keep the washer/dryer going at all hours of the NIGHT - kind of annoying always having to hear that humming and rumbling. You will always know where your upstairs neighbor is because the floorboards are SOOO creaky. I lived here from late 2022 to early 2023. At the time that I was there, I really don’t recall many issues. Had a mouse once; when I reported it they sent a man out right away and he set the traps, but they didn’t catch anything and I never saw it again (both of which I was glad about). The building I was in had the laundry on nearly the lowest level - each individual building has their own laundry machines. Lived there for 7 yrs. Not a bad place to live. Close to shopping and dining.
Don’t even bother relocating here. My lease started for October 2; I didn’t physically move into my apartment until the 15th and I’ve already been without heat 5 different occasions. The last time happened last week, between Wednesday night/ Thursday morning during our snow storm. Before bed I set the thermostat at 78, I like my place nice and warm… I woke up around 3:15 am Thursday and it was FREEZING. The thermostat showed 63 and the central heat was blowing in cool air.
