I am a current resident of the complex. The major issue I have is ownership by Newnan Housing Authority. Sandra Strozier is not helpful in solving disputes when management is not available or when an issue needs to be taken beyond management. The gym represents a classic case of false advertisement. The equipment is faulty and out dated. The laundry room is small, but I guess if you dont like it buy your own. There are hook ups available in every unit. I currently live at summit point apartments, and I can tell you that they have changed management at least 4 times since I have been here. It seems like each time they get a new manager that it is worse then the old one. I have been here for over a year, and the major thing that I have a problem with other then management is the fact that they offer so many things that dont work, such as the gym, first the gym has only three kinds of equipment in it and two out of three dont work. N W I understand your concerns but truthfully Summit Point has gotten better. They are alot less people loitering here and the leasing manager cares and takes alot of time out to make this place better. Have you seen security buying drugs yourself? Newnan Police? And you have a valid point. Until better choices are made by all, positive change will not happen. First of all i live in summit point right now, but i would not advise anyone to move here. This place is ridiculous, My husband has been assaulted and my apt has been broken into on several occasions. And all Management says is its not her fault! OKAY we will see because i have talked to the managements boss and put in a sixty day notice. I wouldnt recommend this apt complex to anyone!
I lived in the complex for a year the management staff there is not all together with each other and it has changed management three times already such a shame. There is also major drug trafficing in the area its from the highland area and you hear a lot of guns next door and a lot of loud music from next door . When u sign a lease they guarantee gym, wash room, parties for kids outside, and pool facilities.The issue with this is always have to get someone to unlock the gym which most of the machines are broken and never wor... read more
