I seen Shania as my RN after having a 40+ mile an hour dirtbike crash an accident with a broken ankle and a torn ACL and her best means of treatment was to hang a 3 to 5 pound boot off of my foot while I have a very extreme knee injury And then also make the comment I said tramadol doesn’t work for me because it gives me restless legs per comment was I’m not gonna prescribe you anything stronger and shut the door I wasn’t asking for anything stronger. If I could give a zero I would. I was scheduled for an injection at 1:20. I work in Frederick MD. I left my job 1 hour and 30 mins early to get to this appointment. Unfortunately I was sitting on interstate 81 I called the office to inform them I may be late. I know of the 15 minute grace period ,I am a clinical coordinator for a medical office. I called the Waynesboro Wellspan orthopedic office for an appointment for a hip fracture. I was offered an appointment in Shippensburg. I asked for an appointment in Waynesboro because the fracture is painful when I drive. I live in Waynesboro. I was told I would not be given an appointment in Waynesboro. I declined the appointment in Shippensburg. Driving with a broken hip is not fun or safe for long distances . They put in my chart that I was offered the next available appointment.
