A Summit Health doctor caused a physical injury during a routine exam and then gave me incorrect and delayed guidance on how to address the injury. After it became necessary for me to seek medical care from an outside specialist to treat the injury, Summit Health refused to assist with the cost of that treatment indicating they considered the injury to be a "known risk" of the exam performed by their doctor. Awful customer service. I scheduled an appointment more than a week in advance. They call me the day of my appointment to let me know I'm not considered an existing patient and that my doctor isn't accepting new patients. Mind you, it had been like 2-3 years since I went to the doctor. First, I think that window of time to drop an existing patient is absurd. Second, you should have contacted me sooner, most certainly not the day of the appointment. I will actively recommend against this place.
Doctors are great, but the billing is not. Paid my co pay upon receiving care in cash. Got a bill 2 months later for unpaid copayment. I do not remember where the receipt went. So I asked them to check the till, obviously they should be plus 10 dollars for the date I was there. The billing department said they would check and get back to me that never happened. This place is scam, don’t go there. I was scammed. I went there for yearly physical exam but when i got the bill i was charged with something else that I didn’t do. Doctor name was Waleed DO Ijaz, he asked me for my medical history and i explained to him. After I left the hospital, doctor called me and said he prescribed a medicine, which i didn’t ask. I am giving this business 5 stars due to a specific employee and her name is Yesenia. Yesterday I had an appointment and when I arrived I asked if certain things were listed in the orders for the bloodwork. Yesenia advised me that 2 things were missing. I called my doctors office a total of 2 times and spoke with Nicole who is the nurse for Dr. David Chen. Nicole stated the orders were submitted.
