I represented an investor client and close on a home in Torrey Pines Ranch yesterday. On Wednesday (day before closing), I conducted a final walk through with the superintendent to identify anything that had to be done by builder. It went well and we signed of on mainly cosmetic repairs. I confirmed with superintendent that we would be closing tomorrow and she assured me that repairs would be completed prior. Hands down the best builder I have worked with as both a realtor and homeowner. I purchased my home with Summit last year. As a realtor, I have worked with almost all of the big named builders over the years and my experience with Summit on the build of our home was like night and day compared to the other builders I have worked with. I also really loved that they have a LOT of included features in their homes, that most builders charge extra for. STAY AWAY!!! Poor quality and shoddy building practices! We found a major flaw in a home we were buying, they refused to fix it and are trying to take our deposit!
