Absolutely horrendous experience at this office. First off, your hours are wrong both online and via your call service, so no one can call to confirm their early appointments or to let the doctors know if they’re running late. When we got to the front desk to ask why we couldn’t call and why the phone system was down if they were open, we were ignored and told “whatever, I don’t care”. I’ve never been treated like less of a person than I did at this office and I will NEVER be using them again. Dispicable.
I had an appointment to see Dr. Ellison on June 4 and they canceled me because I showed up two minutes after the limit being at 11:15. I was at work and left work early to come to my appointment and I also live an hour away from the actual location. Absolutely ridiculous that I couldn’t see me considering that they weren’t busy. It’s not easy for me because I live far away. Do not waste your time here. Front desk people are terrible
The practice has a Better Business Bureau rating of "F" for good reasons. A Summit Health doctor caused a physical injury during a routine exam and then gave me incorrect and delayed guidance on how to address the injury. After it became necessary for me to seek medical care from an outside specialist to treat the injury, Summit Health refused to assist with the cost of that treatment indicating they considered the injury to be a "known risk" of the exam performed by their doctor. Having been patients with Summit Medical for over 30 years, my wife and I are very satisfied with the level of care we have received from Dr. Calcara and his staff. Dr. Calcara takes the time to really know his patients. In an emergency, we have always been able to see him quickly. The health and well being of his patients is paramount to him. Dr Mary Ann Parayil is a great compassionate Dr , unfortunately the only appointment you get is a annual visit and there is never any other appointments, today the office called and wanted to postpone my appointment to end of November and I made this appointment more than two weeks a ago and called yesterday to confirm the appointment ,when you are sick they never have appointments we have to go to urgent care where you pay more than your primary Dr for sure so basically I have visited urgent care for fever pain and infectio... read more
