I’ve been coming here for over 25 years when it was originally Dr.’s Beams & Gilsenan. Since then, doctors have been added. Most I will not see again. Dr Barry is good and I remember when he started working in the practice. Dr Felipe is thorough but has too many patients it seems and I think she’s overwhelmed. Appts are very hard get. The lab is there and it receives a star for being in house. The front desk can be a little more personable. A smile would help. Jaqueline Gray PA is very nice and understanding. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I recently moved to the area and booked my annual physical here. The appointment felt routine — just answering standard questions, like all my other physicals in the past. I mentioned I was new to the area and this was my first doctor visit. In response, the doctor gave me three other Summit Health referrals. A month later, I was shocked to receive a bill charging me for all three of those referrals. The practice has a Better Business Bureau rating of "F" for good reasons. A Summit Health doctor caused a physical injury during a routine exam and then gave me incorrect and delayed guidance on how to address the injury. After it became necessary for me to seek medical care from an outside specialist to treat the injury, Summit Health refused to assist with the cost of that treatment indicating they considered the injury to be a "known risk" of the exam performed by their doctor. Awful customer service. I scheduled an appointment more than a week in advance. They call me the day of my appointment to let me know I'm not considered an existing patient and that my doctor isn't accepting new patients. Mind you, it had been like 2-3 years since I went to the doctor. First, I think that window of time to drop an existing patient is absurd. Second, you should have contacted me sooner, most certainly not the day of the appointment. I will actively recommend against this place.
