The bunkhouse is in a great location with beautiful views. The Summit road up to the bunkhouse is a well maintained gravel road.
Not the best equiped FS cabin. But the drive is easy and the view is wonderful.
Neat as a pin. Very scenic and peaceful. Gravel roads in but we'll maintained. Would have a great view if air had not been super hazy. Remains of early tree platform lookout there, climbing pegs still in side of tree. This dates before lookouts that were cabins on stilts.
This cabin is exceptional— quiet with great views and hikes. Bring your own water. No electricity, but propane heat, light, and stove.
