All the teams are great, actually truly just doing their job in the midst of being understaffed and the problems are whole nation is facing at the moment. My complaint isn't normal for them but putting it out there as a warning, I was sold a used Ford Escape, the turned out to have a lot of problems, luckily I'm still under the power train warranty, so they've fixed the problems as they arise but there are more and more problems popping up, the car isn't reliable, have inquired on trade INS that aren't realistic for me finan... read more

Vehicle battery died; requiring tow to dealership. This vehicle had a new engine under warranty in 2019. There has since been less than 20,000 miles put on the engine. I was told that I would need to pay $9,000 for a new motor. When I asked why, the service writer said "it's only my second day... I am not sure". I believe they saw my old 2008 explorer and thought they could get me to pay for a new engine, simply because it is old. I donated the vehicle to charity. 11/7/2019 1. Dropped focus off at Summit Ford. Transmission shudders after long drives and in lots of stop and go traffic. Car is drivable and works well aside from this. 2. Tech replaced the clutch which requires removal of transmission. Tech noted nothing as far as preexisting vibration or leaks on the trouble ticket (which would be correct as the car is in perfect shape otherwise) 11/9/2019 1. Picked up Focus around 10:00 am. Horrible customer service by the new car sales manager. Went in on a very slow Saturday and asked him to value my new truck (regarding an insurance claim from an accident). He said it’s not something he would do because he “didn’t want to”. Said he wouldn’t help me because I didn’t help him by buying the truck there. I let him know that I have been buying all my aftermarket parts from them and they didn’t have the truck I wanted. Didn’t matter. Walked right back to Parts and returned the parts I had just bought. I worked with Stephanie in Sales at Summit Ford to help ‘kick the tires’ and purchase a vehicle from out of state. She was very responsive, professional and friendly, easily accommodating my schedule via email, txt and phone calls. She helped coordinate pre-purchase inspection with a local mechanic, as well as coordinated with her service department, finance and others to make the whole process pretty smooth.
