Had a problem tooth that required a root canal under an existing crown. When I finally decided to see the doctor the area was severely infected with bone loss. The focus has been to save the tooth. The doctor did an initial clean out to address the infection. I then had to go back monthly for two months to monitor the healing progress. Finally today the healing had progressed to the point they were able to complete the root canal and repair the existing crown. They did not charge me more for the additional visits. I recently received my first root canal from Dr Ackerman. Having heard stories about the process I went in expecting to experience pain. I was amazed at how little discomfort I felt! I HIGHLY recommend this very professional team and would not hesitate to return should the need arise!!!
Having a root canal isn’t something that is normally a pleasant experience! I had two and other dentists wanted to pull both teeth! Dr. Ackerman and her team were kind, professional and very accommodating. If you’re in need of this kind of service I whole heartedly recommend them.
Dr. Ackerman was kind, gentle and very skilled doing the work I needed on my difficult root canal. Her staff were wonderful too and I’m so glad that they were able to fit me into their schedule quickly.
I do not recommend this office. They charged $150 for a 3 minute appointment and blamed it on me for having too much pain to be evaluated. They said I could come back to finish the appointment. I had to pay when leaving. When I called back to reschedule the “second half” of the appointment they denied that it happened. I think they just want money.
