I didn’t even go because I heard about the absurd treatment of tigers. How is this still a thing?
Hawthorne Corporation, the company that owns the tigers featured during the fair, has racked up $272,000 in federal fines and has had their USDA license suspended for breaking cruelty rules set by the Animal Welfare act. These tigers are BEATEN, sat upon and confined most of their lives. They are also endangered. In 2019, why is this "act" allowed to go on?
Don’t allow people to touch, sit on, etc tigers or other animals that should be wildlife. Just stop. It’s disgusting.
What a disgrace to Ohio, allowing abuse of tigers at your county fair!! Please stop!!
Shame on you! Shame on Summit County Fairgrounds for allowing the Nergers Tiger Show. Undermines everything a county fair represents! Here is the 4H creed - I PLEDGE My head to clearer thinking, My heart to greater loyalty, My hands to larger service, My health to better living, For my club, my community my county, and my world. I believe in 4-H work for the opportunity it will give me to become a useful citizen. The Nergers have over 100 violations.
what the f... is this... and people have fun with a animals who have been drug for it?!?!!? what's wrong with you....
will never attend again inhumane treatment to tigers is not acceptable...
It was disgusting that you allowed that tiger show. There was no reason for it. I chose not to attend and encouraged others to boycott as well. Hope you never allow something like this agsin. We don't need to encourage animal cruelty.
I cannot fathom why anyone thinks the tiger exhibit is a good idea!!!! I have told others to not attend the fair as a show of support to end this mistreatment of endangered animals. There is proof they are being mistreated! Come on leave they “entertaining “ for humans to do and STOP ANIMAL EXPLOITATION!!!!!!!
