We arrived at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center (Oakland ER) at 7:45 PM on May 14, 2025. • Between 7:45 PM – 10:30 PM, my mother underwent initial assessments and completed all requested tests. • During that time, her pain increased. She was extremely uncomfortable, unable to sit upright, and later became nauseous. • At 10:20 PM, I asked a male nurse in the front room (across from security) how much longer until a doctor could see her. They tell me I'm dehydrated and send me home at 3:30am in the morning, I got in a taxi and went straight home, but couldn't they have hydrated me when I was their!!!
The nurses are rude and have a very bad attitude.. They show no sympathy for people, I waited 4 hours and wasn't even seen.. Then they wanted to give me an attitude when I asked what was going on
