Went into the ER got seen very quickly by a doctor ended up getting admitted into the hospital received a room really fast didn't have to wait that long and the staff here was excellent. The earlier you go in the day the quicker you will get seen
This is one of the best ER and overall hospitals that I’ve been too. The wait is NEVER to long. The nurses and doctors are on top of everything. It’s clean and the bathrooms are clean. I wish patients would take time to leave their reviews. I’m sure they will be way more good ones. Thank you for all that you do!! You are all appreciated 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

We arrived at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center (Oakland ER) at 7:45 PM on May 14, 2025. • Between 7:45 PM – 10:30 PM, my mother underwent initial assessments and completed all requested tests. • During that time, her pain increased. She was extremely uncomfortable, unable to sit upright, and later became nauseous. • At 10:20 PM, I asked a male nurse in the front room (across from security) how much longer until a doctor could see her.
