I purchased a 28" refrigerator from Summit 3 years ago, and it stopped working. When I read the warranty details, I was not optimistic -- the unit was only warranted for one year, except for the compressor which was warranted for 5 years. However, because I live in the state of Vermont where there are no service people qualified to install compressors of the type in my refrigerator, replacing the compressor wasn't going to do me much good. Summit Appliance Repair Service was very quick and reliable when I asked them for a home appliance service. My stove got broken and caused a big inconvenience. Thankfully their service was effective that my appliance worked like a new one! I heard they could also do a fridge, oven, washing machine, and dryer repair so I’ll call them again if ever I experience appliance defects!
