So I had honestly both good and bad experiences here, but I genuinely would recommend avoiding this place if possible. The place itself is fine, management is not though As honest of a review as possible: The good: Really close to the university, maintenance was really good at responding to and handling requests or repairs within the apartment BEFORE renovations, the other residents have been really nice and good for the most part. The front office is terrible. They either need better training or they need to admit when they don't know something. I have been mislead many times, leading me to waste my time and my money (such as cleaning re-checks and moving apartment numbers). Please get people who know what they are doing!!!!
DO NOT LIVE HERE. Notice that most of the good reviews are from 2+ years ago. The place itself is fairly nice, but the management is horrible. Theyâve changed management at least twice since Iâve lived here. I lived in Summerwood for almost two years and at the beginning of spring break, they emailed me and my roommates that we had 2 weeks to move out because they were going to do renovations and expand the gym into our apartment. Great place to live! Having your own room and a washer and dryer in the apartment is a huge plus. The management is helpful and friendly and they get to maintenance requests quickly. My favorite apartment I've lived in during college!
THREATENED TO CHARGE ME $100 FOR THIS REVIEW! 0 STARS! Terrible place to live and management is even worse. Have you move on finals day while your roommate have longer to move, thinks are constantly broken and take fixing, moved in and several things were broken within the room (drawers, doors, walls peeling, etc.) and I took out several garbage bags of the previous tenants' clothes and trash out, super loud since you are right up against the freeway. DO NOT LIVE HERE!
0 Stars! Management sucks, overpriced, terrible quality apartments. Moved in and room was filthy, dirty clothes, not vacuumed, walls peeling off paint, closet doors broken, multiple holes and dings in the walls/doors. Super loud because you're next to the freeway. No storage space and the W/D break down often and rarely get your clothes clean. DO NOT MOVE HERE!
For the most part I was very pleased and management in the office is great. That said, this past summer our air conditioner broke down like the summer before that. We had never had a problem with the air conditioning when we were in apartment 40 but apartment 42 seemed to have major issues and our apartment was consistently 90° Fahrenheit as a result. Upper management has the office's hands tied and made them jump through a ridiculous amount of hoops before we could get a new air conditioner. It became very clear that the o... read more
I feel very happy living here :), Managment are vey Cool people always so nice and caring about or needs. (I know maybe is a little bit expensive but I enjoy having my own room)
