Second time staying at Summerwind and plan to return again next year for 2 weeks. Great location with wonderful patio to view lobster boats heading out to sea. Sunsets over town of Gloucester highlight the dinners on the deck. Very well equipped with items for beach going and the rooms are all equipped with everything one can need. Gloucester is a wonderful place to visit and explore with lots of things to do at the beach, in town or while exploring Cape Ann. Such a beautiful home, very spacious and well equipped. The location is perfect for a relaxing weekend near the beach. The views are amazing and truly worth it. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, 10/10!
Great location w/ views of a busy harbor during the day and golden hour sunsets. The evening hours featured a sky line similar to a European city w/ lit steeples and towers. A friendly owner, a comfortable home with all your needs provided. Close to Rocky Neck with artist studios/ galleries open to public as well restaurants with excellent menus.Recommended - The Salted Cod Art House. This is a characterful and beautifully (and newly) renovated unit. It is very well equipped, has very nice furnishings, and the decor is extremely nice (a lot of care has been put into the character and appearance of this unit). The owners live next door and were very prompt with help and supplies. The information provided is clear and gives very helpful tips for enjoying your trip. Gloucester/Salem get away October 2022 This apartment was wonderful! Very clean and incredibliy well built. Sofas/beds were quite comforable, as was the entire space. Just a few minute drive into Gloucester (which we loved walking around), 30m to Salem. We spent an entire day exploring Cape Ann, including Rockport and Halibut Point , which is quite the gem. Linda was very helpful with recommendations and reservation quite easy. Was more $ than we typically spend/night but worth it and would ablsolutely stay here again!
