Doctor shows up half hour late after the clinic opens. Doesn’t help even the clinic is full. Not a good experience what so ever. Be prepared to have your patience tested while waiting sick / injured.
I am literally standing here at 4:40 and the lady at the reception is literally free and doing no work. Still she told us we reached our capacity for the day (there’s not a single patient in the clinic apart from us). And she switched off lights and ready to leave. We reached here with a toddler and a new born. Horrible human being, 0 empathy and lazy as hell. I wish she loose her job and then realise how useless she was even when she had this job of helping people
Clinic refused to treat me because their system didnt recognize the version code of my health card. Told me to call service ontario, so I did and they told me the card was valid and was an issue with the clinic. I told the clinic that and they refused to accept that explanation, and sent me in person to service ontario. I went to service ontario who assured me that the card was valid. I had a great experience at Summerside Medical Clinic. The receptionist was very kind and let me in last minute on a Saturday, knowing that otherwise I would have had to wait until Monday to see a doctor. I really appreciated that. Dr. Abdelmalek is always attentive and kind. He takes the time to listen and prescribes the right medication. I’ve never felt the need to see another doctor after meeting him. Whenever I can’t see my family doctor, I always go to this clinic as a walk-in because I know I’ll be well taken care of.
