Update - replying to Kara's response. - I was able to get the orange chunky and streaky highlights fixed easily by another stylist. I also don't use "box dye" i use schwartzkopf professional hair color when i do my roots between sessions :) i would never say i dont care if my hair gets damaged? and the reason i called back day of is because my girlfriends told me i needed to get it fixed asap. i hope that helps clarify. I want to share my experience with Kara. I came in for a balayage and was clear during the appointment that I did not want red, auburn, or warm tones - which she asked and clarified multiple times prior to coloring my hair. When time constraints were mentioned, I agreed to do whatever was possible, even if that meant just a few highlights. I’ve been getting highlights most of my life and felt I communicated clearly. I had the best salon experience here! Having struggled to find the right salon for me, which is a place I look forward to visiting and a quality haircut, I am so happy with the Summerland Salon! My hair was damaged from very hard water and it has been restored with the help of the recommendations Jessica, my hairstylist here, gave and the product line the salon uses.. Najeau. I had a lovely glass of iced tea on a warm summer day and got a great haircut that fits my face shape and style very well. Can't wait to come back!
