Never lived at this property but I have lived at another essex "managed" property. Stay away!!! Essex does not have onsite leasing or management. It's all remote, so it's a pain to communicate with them. They hardly ever answer calls or respond to emails. They list units that might not actually be available and try to keep your money if you don't accept one of the other units that they have available. 1. The walls are extremely thin. If you have an upstairs neighbor, you’ll hear every footstep and know exactly when they shower and for how long. 2. The internet is a major issue. Xfinity cable is the only available provider, offering just 5 Mbps upload speed. With a monopoly in the area, Xfinity delivers poor service at an outrageously high price. Apartment and maintenance is fine. However, when moving out, we have cleaned every corner of the unit a few times so there is no dust, but still got charged $300+ cleaning fees. We emailed the community relationship office with photos to ask what got cleaned after move-out, but didn't get any responses at all... Although they have an auto-reply saying someone would reach out within 48 hours, they never get back on the email.
