Called and the person who answered the phone hung up on me. Said he was mad because I called his number 3 different times.
Rude, huge up on me. What a Christian, people need help not hate.
Chuck took me in when I had nowhere to go. He was very direct over the phone and told me he doesn't waste time with suboxone maintenance and it was all about recovery, I was very aware it was a "no BS" sober community. NOT like many flop houses we've heard of. He allowed me to move in before finding a job and helped me get interviews. I only stayed there for a couple of months but have been clean and sober since moving there over 2.5 years ago. I have and still do recommend Summer Rays.
Amazing!! Chuck rocks and genuinely cares about giving back! It's about more than the money and that's proven in the many services the program offers.
This program has not only saved my life it has welcomed me when I was homeless and broke. Chuck gave me a roof over my head and has been nothing but positive and encouraging to me. If you're about the right thing and do this simple program only good things will happen. I recommend this program all the way......thank you Chuck for taking me in when no-one else would
First of all,ya gotta be done for this to work. Chuck tells it how it is to people who have tried everything else. He truly cares, he's passionate about people changing and growing. This place has given me a new lease on life and I am so very grateful.
Worst program ever. The house I stayed had. No heat. In the winter, boards for Windows. Found old syringes in a room that had not been cleaned prior to me moving in. Churck is bi polar and tried to make gay jokes at me. Real nice I have ptsd from being taken advantage of. Told him that he did not stop. Plenty of better programs sober living houses out there.
