Summer Place is a wonderful apartment community with two swimming pools, covered parking, washer/dryer connections in an excellent location. Easy access to I-10, the Acadiana Mall, hospitals and more just off of Ambassador Caffery on Eraste Landry rd. Management changed in February 2012 and since that time many improvements and changes have been made. Come by and check us out!
DO NOT MOVE HERE! Just found out that I lost my \$300 deposit because I decided not to move here. I was told that my application fee (\$45) was non-refundable but not my deposit. Come on people.....get all your employees on the same page!
Well where do I start. I have been living in Summer Place for over 2yrs. Well my wife went away to BR and i got a call from the manager in the office. She ask me if I was out of town, I told her Yes and then she tells me that there has been a water leak in my apartment. I ask her how bad it was and I was told not that bad. I call my parents and ask them to go check on my apartment. My parents call me back and told me to find somewhere else to stay. Hope Nothing Ever Breaks or You're In Trouble! – I lived at Summer Place Apartments for over one year. I had to get out. Service was horrible. Roof leaked for months after being reported many times. I practically slept in my living room most of the time due to the fact that I feared for my health due to the mold and mildew from the rain. The maintenance is absolutely horrible and the manager told me that if I am not happy with the way things were handled to find another place to live - which is what I did.
