Dont deal with this company. They are rude and unreliable. They sold wifi enabled cameras, charged customers more, and swiftly proceeded to tell them wifi will no longer be supported with no compensation. Staff didnt seem to care and weren't nice about the situation. Buy a more ethical company's monitor please.

I am unhappy with a purchase I made and was asked to submit a review. When I submitted a negative review Summer Infant censored my review and wouldn’t post it. I bought a cellphone viewed baby monitor (summer infant) for $180 in 2014, and tried to use on my second child recently. But I was told by this company that they do not support this model any more. They said I can use it with the handheld in home if the phone feature is not working, which I am also ok with. But the camera model I bought didn't even come with a handheld back then because cell phone view was the newest model back then so it didn't need a handheld. I have had their WiFi baby monitor for 2 years and all of the sudden the WiFi app no longer works. I called the company and was told this service discontinued and they sent three “warning” emails. I did not receive any of these emails. They cannot handle the technology changes to keep up with this, what a joke it is 2018. I paid for this specific monitor for the WiFi capability and now no longer have it. They no longer support WiFi viewing for older models (only 2 years old!!) so you can only view in the home now, which totally defeats the purpose of having WiFi and the reason I bought it. Not only is it not performing as advertised but I received no notification and had to find out while I was away and trying to make sure my daughter was SAFE. I purchased this monitor in 2016 to be able to view my baby in her room. The ONLY REASON why I purchased this monitor is because it was WIFI compatible. So I was able to view my baby even when not in the house. 2 years later, and I get an email from Summer Infant saying that as of June 27, 2018 they will no longer support the WIFI application on this monitor. We have 2 of the ******* ********* ***** and have had nothing but issues with them. They just plain do not work as advertised. We have already returned the products to Target once and the next day the same issue, even with fresh batteries. They play for a few seconds and then just stop. Where is the Quality Control on this product?
