I strongly recommend thinking twice before renting here, especially if reliable maintenance is important to you. Our A/C is broken again, after we already dealt with major A/C problems and repairs last summer. It happened again. Please send help! Our A/C went out during the Texas summer, no one came after our after-hours request, and the request was marked “resolved” without anyone servicing our apartment. Maintenance later confirmed the system was low on refrigerant, and unfortunately, this has been a recurring problem for years. We have pets that cannot safely remain in high temperatures for extended periods. We have been living in Summer Bend Apartments in our current unit for more than three years. Before the new management took over, our maintenance requests were often not addressed in a timely manner, and we had been dealing with an ongoing stove issue since the day we moved in. Since the new management took over, all of our concerns have been addressed and resolved. I raised a maintenance request a week ago regarding a water leak in my kitchen. Because of this issue, I’m unable to properly use the kitchen sink or tap water. Unfortunately, no one has come to fix the problem yet, despite my request. This has caused a lot of inconvenience. I’m very disappointed with the lack of response and support from the maintenance team. Residents’ maintenance issues, especially water-related problems, should be taken seriously and addressed promptly.
