The minute that my husband was told he had to have his hip replacement our experience was excellent. Everyone from the doctors we encountered to the cleaning staff was pleasant and helpful. The nurses at Summa's Joint Replacement Center took EXCELLENT care of my husband and treated my whole family as if we were a part of their own. From the very moment my 93 year old dad walked in the doors of Barberton Summa Hospital to get a hip replacement, we were both treated with the utmost respect and care! Everyone from our first nurse, Anne, in surgery to Dr. Combs, our anesthesiologist, PT and OT and the all the staff on 1 West - all staff have gone completely above and beyond taking care of our every need! Thank you for making this visit the most comfortable a joint replacement surgery could be!
