I leased a commercial unit through Mr. Sumir Chauhan and remained in that location for six years and three months under a formal written agreement. Upon providing notice to vacate, Mr. Chauhan was responsible for securing a new tenant. However, both he and the property owner attempted to have us vacate the premises one month earlier than our agreed-upon end date, citing that the incoming tenant wanted possession sooner.
