I do not recommend Dr Sum. Didn’t seem to be engaged or really care about concerns. Just trying to get in and out for a long weekend. Will not be coming back to see her again with my children
Dr. Sum is kind, patient, thorough, and excellent with infants and toddlers. She has been our pediatrician for several years and we highly recommend her!
Our family has been seeing Dr. Sum for the past 11 years and have been very satisfied with her care. She is efficient but thorough and always willing to refer for specialty care as needed.
My daughter is strong, muscular, active, and healthy and still Dr. Sum made a point to say “this is where your BMI is, and this is where we want it” after I told her not to mention my child’s body weight. They need to stop referencing the BMI when it’s been widely debunked. Oh, worst part is she put it on my kids chart, she diagnosed her as having a high BMI. Which isn’t a diagnosis. There are no words to describe our exact experience with Dr Sum. She is always available and answers all of our questions patiently and honestly. We trust her taking care of our son and will miss her when we move. Would definitely recommend!!
