Restaurant itself was very nice. The sort of place you just want to be. Service was ok and the food was disappointing, at best. I ordered the Cajun black and blue burger- medium. It was a well done preformed patty with little actual taste. Not sure why any restaurant such as this would offer anything other than a hand made/pattied burger. And the bologna sandwich my husband ordered well, it was not thick cut. Anyway, suffice to say it was just NOT worth the 30mi drive!
Great food, service, and take out! A regular restaurant to go to for our family. They are very good about staying away from cross contamination for the celiacs in my family.
We had a group of ten plus a baby. The waitress was very friendly and accommodated a few special requests. Everyone ordered something different but highlights were a lobster quesadilla and the blackened pork chop. My sides of baked potato and asparagus were especially well prepared. The pork was perfectly cooked while the blackened seasoning made it a dish I will return for. Bites of the quesadilla were passed around so others could taste. A delightful evening of good service and good food!
I was there Friday night and ordered the perch. Only good thing was the onion rings. The perch was way overcooked. I could hardly eat the ends of the fish. I get the idea of market price but $27 is a little steep for perch in northwest Ohio.
