Chose Another Location – Other Sullivan's appear to have thier act together but there seems to be a problem here. Staff was running around as if they didn't know what was going on. Service was slow and the food was poor.
Over priced choice beef – If you are looking for a good cut of prime beef, Sullivans is not the place to go. They over charge you for steak that is mediocre at best. The atmosphere is pretty nice, but be ready to spend a lot of money on food that is not very impressive. The servers are very friendly, but good service can be found at a number of other restaurants. Its an upscale version of Hooters that likes to believe it is "fine dining".
Simply The Best Service and Steak – Sullivan's continues to produce an excellent steak, with mashed potatoes from Heaven. The GM, Bill White, remains calm on the floor and has great control of the restaurant. Wonderful wine list, great fresh seafood and the Service is excellent.
Very Posh! – A reservation is recommended after that you are set! Loved the food and the service was good and the atmosphere was the best!
For carnivores but not much more – Forties themed restaurant serves great, tender (but pricey) steaks in a nice, dark woody room. The problem here is the supporting cast. Starters include a $36 dollar seafood platter featuring "fresh frozen" as the menu says stone crab claws, mussels, shrimp, etc. that tasted more frozen than fresh. Great Place – This 40's themed restaurant offers a relaxed bar atmosphere with live 40's music played on the piano and bass as well as romantic, elegant dining experience in actual restaurant. A bit pricy ($20-$50 for entrees), but worth it with an excellent wine selection.
