I was a long term, dedicated client of Sullivan and Associates until they broke my trust. I am a veteran with PTSD. Consent is a bit of a big deal to me. The office manager decided to NOT inform me as soon as they discovered my veterans affairs insurance would not cover my new therapist. Instead they let me build a rapport with my new therapist, let me feel like I was maybe getting somewhere in my treatment, then they tried to swap therapists out from under me without my informed consent. If you are on WSIB and referred here, refuse. They are not here to help you. They are paid by the WSIB, and will report EVERYTHING you say to WSIB. NO CONFIDENTIALITY WHATSOEVER. Poured my soul out to someone in what I thought was a confidential setting, about how WSIB is destroying my life, and here I am reading a letter from WSIB basically calling me a psycho, and repeating word for word what I said to the 'mental health professional' at Sullivan. I am working with Nadia and she is a very good listener and thoughtful with her responses. I'd recommend her for relationship journeys. Also, if you haven't done therapy before, I recommend hashing out all your thoughts with chatgpt for a week or so and then getting a summary of your feelings and situation so you can give it to your therapist as a letter. It will save you time and money and help you understand what you want to get out of therapy
