It has been a while since I got a tattoo. But this time I was looking for a larger piece with fine line details. After finding Kim's previous work, I reached out and was delighted when she responded that she was interested in my concept. We had a meeting where we talked over what I wanted and looked up images online. She made notes of what parts of the images were important that she needed to make sure were in the tattoo. +2 stars for cleanliness and line skills -3 stars: Kim is more interested in doing what SHE wants to do than what YOU want. If you aren’t careful, you’ll have a tattoo that isn’t designed or placed how you want it. She acted dismissive and annoyed when asked to make changes. Shading felt rushed and haphazard and I didn’t feel comfortable asking for any more changes- which should say something about the bedside manner and professionalism of the artist.
