I originally thought my appointment was at 11:45 due to a text that they sent but it somehow was miscommunicated that it was actually at 11:30. The appointment was for a brazilian + underarms. When they called me they said that they couldn’t do an underarm wax today, I understood and said it was okay. I get there right before 11:45 and then they tell me they could only do my underarms… which I drove 40 minutes out of my way to get my brazilian done. Tina was amazing! Her service was great and I left feeling phenomenal. Got more hair out than a wax, I was so impressed!
The place looks nice, is clean and has a nice vibe. However, I do not recommend sugar waxing or this location. Compared to regular waxing, it was so much more painful. It was painful going on and coming off. In addition, it's not as efficient. I left with patches of hair that I had to fix. A far as this particular location my experience was not ideal. i’ve been going here for about the last year or so and changed wax specialists to Clementina the last time I was here, and she is AMAZING!!! not only does she do a great job by being thorough but also very fast, but she’s very personable and such a joy to be around :) 10/10 recommend her and sugaring nyc!!
