I grew up eating homemade fried green tomatoes and occasionally from restaurants. I would not recommend them from here. The batter was thick and raw on the inside and when I asked if that’s how they were supposed to be, I was told yes. I had started eating them while I was there waiting on the rest of my order (which it wasn’t until I got home that I realized was wrong, but it was Father’s Day and rainy, so I didn’t bother going back). The BBQ was not as tender as they normally would be. It was kind of dry as though it was old. It seem that they are losing their touch.
