Growing up during the 80's, almost every trip from the coast to the valley, and vice versa, were punctuated by the memory of a stop at the Sugar Shack. Best apple fritters and Maple bars, to this day!

I thought I'd already eaten the best doughnuts in the world until I came across Sugar Shack Bakery. How in the world do they do it? These doughnuts are consistently delicious, perfectly cooked and beautifully decorated. The fillings are mouth-watering and the Shack's selection is enormous. Every pastry I've tried tastes even more delectable than ever, so sampling one of each is de rigueur for research purposes - which is my idea of bliss!
