Farm was understaffed and not very helpful in finding the correct size tree. Asked for help to find a 9+ foot tree and was sent in multiple directions without any luck. Walked up and down the mountain and then was told, “if we ain’t got it, then we ain’t got it.” Tried to ask if we could cut down as bigger tree and cut it down to size which was denied. Ended up picking a much smaller tree and waited 30 mins or more to have it cut down. After walking down the mountain for the last time due to only 1 tractor running, we waited... read more
Recommendeddrove from myrtle beach to pick a tree and i was definitely more than pleased..if u want to be treated like family this is the place..the veiw and trees were outstanding and i will definitely make the 5.5 hr drive next yr...

Great folks, great tree, breathtaking scenery...awesome experience! Spent a fortune on products that would kill the tens of thousands of aphids that invaded our home with our beautiful tree last year. Lol...not sure if I'll return this year.
This place seems awesome for kids...they have all things to make it fun for a child....wonder why they have all the extras???? Well for starters after we got our tree it took them an hour and a half!!!!To bring it down so we could go pay...then after that had to wait in line in the car almost an hour to get the tree. The guy that cut it told us they would drill a hole for us, he lied. All n all the trees arent that impressive and it is hard to get some help around there. Def will not return.
I'm a single mother struggling to make ends meet, after struggling and saving to buy a tree which we have done for five years at Sugarplum Farms. I got the tree home and decorated it, to discover it was infested with aphids. We called them back and the lady said we needed it speak with her husband, we called back and they never answered. We called Carter farms to see how to treat the aphids, and he said if it came from his farm he said he would refund us, offer a discount, and replace any damaged decorations.
