Beautiful Scenery, but it comes with mice we recently rented Amazing Grace by Sugar Maple cabins. While the scenery was beautiful and the pictures on the website match the actual house, we found the cabin dirty and dusty. the sheets looked like they had been changed, but they were very dingy looking. there is not adequate parking for a cabin that sleeps 14 (only 2 spots). but the worst part was the fact that a family of mice was living in one of the couches. we removed the cushions to make a bed for a 2 year old and found an... read more
VERY POOR MANAGEMENT, UNCLEAN - MORNING VIEW MANOR Our church reserved Morning View Manor, rented under Sugar Maples Cabins, for a weekend women's retreat. We paid thousands of dollars and experienced many problems - one being NO WATER! Many frustrations with management and no answers. Was this a crime scene or what? Our first stay in a cabin and by far the worst vacation thanks to Gatlinburgcabinsonline.com. Immediately upon checking in we noticed other couples in the office complaining about their cabin. After driving back from the office in traffic for a hour we finally reach our cabin " Mountain Laurel". It's listed as a 2bdr w/2queen sleepers, this cabin should sleep 8. We Will Be Using Them AGAIN!! We decided to go to Tennessee for our 13th wedding anniversary and brough 4 other couples with us. Gatlinburg Cabins Online was the only company that was able to accomadate so many couples that wanted "king beds only". This was the first + for me. Big House Great-Management Horrific Would never recommend Sugar Maple Cabins. Booked the Big House two months in advance for extended family. Called the day of arrival to see if roads were okay & was told that weather was moving in,but if we did not show we would be charged $500. After six hours of driving and only an hour away, received call stating housekeeping could not get to cabin. We were forced to find hotel rooms for 10 people. don't use beachwalker rentals rented a bug filled; spider/palmetto bug infested filthy home from these people and after paying the highest price ever, received zero effort to remedy the situation. be a smart consumer; pay attn to this and keep looking
Filthy and disgusty The cabin was an absolute filthy dump-- it looked like it had not been cleaned in twenty years. The customer service was deplorable.
Boo for Gatlinburg Cabins Online LLC. I wouldnt reccomend this place. First of all, we did not know that the cabins are actually located in Pigeon Forge but the rental office is located in Gatlinburg. It is a nightmare to get to the office then have to turn around and drive right back thru the traffic to get back to Pigeon Forge to the cabin. The cabins are not secluded. SUGAR MAPLE CABINS A NO GO I organized a vacation late June to early July for 11 kids and 10 adult family mambers through Sugar Maple Cabins. The reservation was done 5 months in advance. I thought I had found the perfect cabin for all of us. It was on top of a mountain and had out of this world views. Upon check in we discovered that the pool (resort access) that was advertised with the cabin was no longer available to tennants of our cabin due to "the owner of the cabin not paying his resort dues".
