Spectacular Views!! Sugar Maple Cabins have to have some of the best cabins in the industry in this area! We looked them up online to make the reservation, and was really in shock at the number of cabins to choose from! They have soooo many! We looked and looked before we could actually choose the perfect one for us! We were not disappointed with any aspect of our cabin, and were most pleased with the view from all THREE levels of our porches. The hot tub was the perfect setting for gazing out over the mountain view!
Do not stay at sugar maple cabins! After arriving at our cabin we realized that we were short a few towels and washcloths. Inconvienent but not a huge deal, we would have to wash some sooner. When everyone got ready for bed, we went to find sheets to go on the two sofa beds for our four children to sleep. There was one flat sheet, one fitted sheet total for both beds and no pillow cases. Beautiful Scenery, but it comes with mice we recently rented Amazing Grace by Sugar Maple cabins. While the scenery was beautiful and the pictures on the website match the actual house, we found the cabin dirty and dusty. the sheets looked like they had been changed, but they were very dingy looking. there is not adequate parking for a cabin that sleeps 14 (only 2 spots). but the worst part was the fact that a family of mice was living in one of the couches. we removed the cushions to make a bed for a 2 year old and found an... read more
VERY POOR MANAGEMENT, UNCLEAN - MORNING VIEW MANOR Our church reserved Morning View Manor, rented under Sugar Maples Cabins, for a weekend women's retreat. We paid thousands of dollars and experienced many problems - one being NO WATER! Many frustrations with management and no answers. Upon arrival, the trash bins were full and overflowing, we had to clean the cabin before our ladies arrived - dusting, sweeping, bathrooms, etc. We also had to pay extra cleaning fees upon arrival that we were not aware of. Big House Great-Management Horrific Would never recommend Sugar Maple Cabins. Booked the Big House two months in advance for extended family. Called the day of arrival to see if roads were okay & was told that weather was moving in,but if we did not show we would be charged $500. After six hours of driving and only an hour away, received call stating housekeeping could not get to cabin. We were forced to find hotel rooms for 10 people. SUGAR MAPLE CABINS A NO GO I organized a vacation late June to early July for 11 kids and 10 adult family mambers through Sugar Maple Cabins. The reservation was done 5 months in advance. I thought I had found the perfect cabin for all of us. It was on top of a mountain and had out of this world views. Upon check in we discovered that the pool (resort access) that was advertised with the cabin was no longer available to tennants of our cabin due to "the owner of the cabin not paying his resort dues". Smoky Mountain Bliss cabin--was all that and more! We stayed at "Smoky Mountain Bliss" cabin, managed by Sugar Maple Cabins, for two weeks in April. The wraparound views were just like the photos, but better. We would have loved to use the hot tub, but didn't get a chance to use it. We loved eating at the outside dinette or on the picnic table, under the porch ceiling fan. Breathtaking Experience My husband and I spent 3 nights here for our honeymoon in Jan.'06. It was an awesome cabin! The cabin was very clean, and exactly like the pics online and the views were wonderful!! We arrived late and the staff at check-in were very courteous and helpful and the rates are reasonable. We are getting ready to celebrate our 1st anniversary and will definitely stay here again.
We plan on going back! We visted TN and stayed at Sugar Maple Cabins in June of 2005. The cabins were awesome and look just like the pics online. The reservation process was quick and simple, the cabin was in new condition and everything was clean and perfect. Their prices are awesome too!
