How does an ice cream shop with friendly service, yummy flavors, and a decent location only have 4.4 stars? Even when busy, we've never had bad service. And, the bathroom is always clean! Grab an ice cream, walk down to the water, and watch the boats go by. Or, get liquored up at Dock House and then walk over and grab a nice, sugary treat at Sugar Doodles. No matter how you do it, this place is very good.
Delicious ice cream, and the portions are big! We loved the coconut flavor and all of the topping options. The hunks of cookie dough were legit. The ice cream shop is super cute and in a great location for walking the dock, or stopping on a bike ride. Can't wait to go back and try more flavors! There were so many options.
We had a day out for ourselves and went for a bike ride just across bay bridge on the cross island trail. We saw a bunch of ice cream signs on the trail and decided to top by. It was a little off the path and we thought we weren't suppose to be back that way. But we parked our bikes and walk in and got a nice sweet treat and sat out on the picnic tables. Simple flavors but nice and fresh. Definitely recommend others to stop by and check it out. The people were very friendly too.
Very nice small Ice Cream shop my kids and I love to go to on special occasions or just why not. Friendly staff and the portions are worth the price. Plus the location is wonderful with the water nearby and a nice boardwalk to both walk on and sit and enjoy the view
