My Father John Piel resided at Sugar Creek for 1 year and 4 months. I can only hope the staff at Sugar Creek knows and understands how much we all appreciated the care they gave my father. John. passed away recently with family and staff at his side. The care he received was unmatched as was the care he was shown. The rooms were very pleasant, food was exceptional, and the facility is of the highest quality I have yet to see or experience. My mom had a terrible experience there, it was thru Covid so we couldn’t visit, she ended up in the hospital, nurses taking pictures of her bruises on her head and body because of abuse charges. She was moved to St Mary’s OFallon ( used to be a convenient and nursing school t and and was treated great there. Keep them at home!
